equipment?
Used equipment can often have
several advantages over new: Value, used equipment is
usually only a percentage of new after several years
of use, with significant useful life center. Reduced
investment gives operators more options on additional
purchases. Availability, often lead times on
new equipment are several months, a used piece
available today can kick off a project tomorrow.

From I 90:
Take exit #9 (old exit #3) Girard/Platea - Route 18 North, follow 18 till it intersects with Rt 20 (2.0 miles) you have to follow 20 east (1 mile) into Girard till Rt 18 continues. At the light turn left following Rt. 18 North (also call Rice Avenue) though Lake City for 2.0 miles. Look for Edwards Homes & Lake City Manufactured Home Company on both sides of 18 and you will see sign for Keystone Drive (also Carlisle Engineering) on the right. Turn right onto Keystone drive and we are the last building on the left.
From Rt 5:
Turn South onto Route 18. Go approximately ½ mile and watch for Keystone Drive & also Carlisle Engineering Sign. Turn left onto Keystone Drive and we are the last building on the left.

3) Is all the equipment
listed all at the Equipment Exchange warehouse?
NO. Although our 30,000 square
foot warehouse is usually full of equipment, we are
able to track a great deal more equipment and make it
available for sale to our customers by LISTING the
equipment. This equipment is usually still at the
plant it was last used. Please check with us before
setting up travel plans to ensure the actual location
of the equipment.

4) Can I get pictures
of the equipment?
YES. We usually have pictures of the equipment
we are selling. At your request, we would be happy to
send the pictures to you. You will also note that our
web site has some of the pictures on-line. These
pictures can be downloaded and printed at your
location if you have the proper equipment.

5) How long will the
equipment be for sale?
Our equipment is always subject
to prior sale. Most pieces are quoted to several
potential buyers at any given time and the first
buyer to commit to purchase will own the equipment.

6) Can I inspect the
equipment before I buy?
We strongly encourage our customer's
to take the time to travel and inspect the equipment.
This allows you to make your own evaluation of
equipment condition and suitability for the use you
have in mind.

7) What are the terms
of payment?
Normally payment is due upon
receipt of invoice.

8) Does Equipment
Exchange lease equipment?
NO. Most of our buyers either pay with
a company check or wire transfer. Many buyers have
purchased through a leasing company of their choice
and we are happy to work with your leasing company or
refer you to a leasing company.

9) Can I sell my
surplus equipment?
YES. We would be happy to
work with you to either buy your equipment or list it
for sale. Please call or send us a note via Email.

10) Does Equipment
Exchange exhibit at any trade shows?
YES. We normally are at
the International Poultry Exposition in
Atlanta GA each January and at the American Meat
Institute show in Chicago, IL every other fall.

restaurant equipment?
NO. We sell equipment used in larger
Food Manufacturing plants. Process machinery that is
used for large volume manufacturing.

14) What is the cost
in general on used equipment?
The selling price is determined
by age, condition and desirability. A good rule of
thumb is 50% of cost for a 5 year or older machine.
